Sensor Data Fusion and Applications -project is focused on developing solutions for collecting and integrating sensor based data that can be used in novel and innovative applications in the field of cooperative traffic. The project builds on existing and new sensor data sources, developing sensor and data fusion methods, which are further utilised to generate new potential applications for the industry. The work is done by building a toolbox of generic solutions that are demonstrated with prototype applications. The prototype application are evaluated and most potential ones further refined to the level where they can be piloted more widely within the Cooperative Traffic programme.
